Patrick Tiquet

Patrick Tiquet (born April 18, 1976) A software & website developer and technology entrepreneur that worked on many prominent internet websites from 1995 through 2006, including the start-up of Evite.com, Wired.com, Lycos.com, and JPS.net (an ISP that eventually became part of Earthlink).

Career

In 1995, at age 19, Tiquet began developing online shopping cart systems, interactive websites. In 1997 Tiquet began working with JPS.net and developed a highly-available, high-volume e-mail system, utilizing the custom RePOP server. Tiquet left JPS.net in 1999 and worked on the technology of several high-profile internet websites, including Wired.com, Lycos.com, and Evite.com.

In 2001, after the successful sale of Evite.com to Citysearch-Ticketmaster, Tiquet moved on to CNet Founder Halsey Minor's start-up, Grand Central Communications, a web-based service oriented architecture intended to simplify data integration between enterprise organizations.

As of 2006 Tiquet was managing the technology of a web sales unit of Ticketmaster.

Biography

Tiquet was born in Northern California. [1] As of 2004, Tiquet lived in San Francisco, California, USA.
